Paneer Pasanda Recipe: Ingredients
- 300 g paneer
- 1 tsp pistachios chopped
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 5 tomatoes
- 1 cup cream
- 10 to 15 cashews
- 10 to 15 almonds
- 1 tbsp raisins
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- 2 to 3 green chillies
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- oil as needed
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Cut large square pieces of paneer and keep them on a plate. After this keep dry fruits in small pieces in a bowl. After this chop tomatoes, green chillies and coriander.
- For stuffing, take a little paneer and grind it, add chopped dry fruits to it, add salt as per taste and mix it well.
- Prepare a thick smooth batter by adding water and a pinch of salt to corn flour or arrowroot in a bowl. Now cut the thick piece of paneer from the middle in such a way that it remains attached to the bottom. Stuff the paneer-dry fruit stuffing in it and press it lightly to make a sandwich. Similarly, make a paneer sandwich for all.
- After this, heat the oil in a pan. Fry the paneer sandwich in it till it turns golden. Now take out the cheese sandwich on a plate and keep it. Now prepare a paste by grinding chopped green chillies, coriander and tomatoes.
- After this, once again put some oil in the pan to heat it. Add cumin and asafoetida and fry them. After this, add ginger paste and fry it and then add tomato paste and cook it.
- After cooking for 1 minute, add all the spices like turmeric, red chilli, and green coriander powder and fry it. When the masala starts leaving oil, add fresh cream to it.
- After this add 1 cup of water and leave the gravy to boil. Mix the fried paneer sandwich in it. Later add garam masala, salt as per taste and green coriander and cook for 1 minute. In this way, paneer pasanda will be ready.
