Paneer Do Pyaza Recipe: Want to make something special for lunch or dinner? However, don’t understand what to make special, then just bring paneer at home and prepare this special recipe with some spices. It does not require much time and effort. You can prepare paneer do pyaz with just curd, paneer and onions along with some spices.
Paneer Do Pyaza: Ingredients
- 2 cups paneer cut into cubes
- 2 chopped onions
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 teaspoon gram flour
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 2 green chillies
- 2 tbsp curd
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 green cardamom
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 piece cinnamon
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Recipe
- Step 1- Pour curd into a bowl and mix it well with the help of a spoon. Mix garam masala, turmeric, red chilli powder, and coriander powder well in it. After this, add Kasuri fenugreek, gram flour and salt as per your taste to the curd. After this, add water cut into cubes to this curd solution. After mixing well, leave it for 10 minutes to marinate.
- Step 2- Place a nonstick pan on the gas and heat it by adding 1 tsp oil. Add marinated paneer to it and fry for about 3 minutes. Now take it out in a bowl and keep it aside.
- Step 3- After this, add oil again to the pan and heat it. Now, add cumin, bay leaf, cinnamon and green cardamom and fry it. Add onions and green chillies to it and cook for about 5 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste when the colour of the onion turns light pink. After this, add dry spices like turmeric, red chilli, green coriander etc.
- Step 4- Now, add tomato puree to it and cook for about three minutes. Put salt as per taste in this gravy. Cook it till the gravy leaves the oil. When the gravy thickens, add fried paneer cubes. In this way, paneer and two onions will be ready.
