Palak Paneer Recipe: Ingredients
- Paneer (200 grams)
- Spinach leaves (350 grams)
- Garlic (1 tsp)
- Desi ghee (1 tbsp)
- Cumin (½ tsp)
- Tomato puree (1 tsp)
- Garam Masala (½ tsp)
- Lemon juice (½ tsp)
- Onions (1)
- Green Chilli (3)
- salt to taste
Method
To make Palak Paneer, first wash the spinach leaves thoroughly. Wash thoroughly with water about 4 times. After this keep the spinach leaves broken. Remove some of its sticks by breaking them.
Place a pan or a pan on the gas. Add ½ cup water to it and heat it. If you want to eliminate the smell of onion, then cut the onion roundly and put it in this water. Now add cleaned spinach to it. Let the spinach and onions cook for about 3 minutes.
Now take out the spinach and onion from the hot water and let it cool down a bit. After this, grind green chillies, onions and spinach together in a grinder. Now take out the paste made of spinach from the mixture. Now put the pan again on the gas. Add 1 spoon of desi ghee to it. After this add cumin, ginger-garlic paste and fry. After this add spinach paste and cook for about 2 minutes.
Now cut the paneer into big square-sized pieces. Let it boil a little and then add half a teaspoon of lemon juice and salt as per taste and mix it. After this cook for about 5 minutes. Garnish by adding fresh cream on top. In this way your curry will be ready.
