New York Cheesecake: Ingredients

  • 15 Graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 and a half cups White sugar
  • 3/4 cups Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Method

Preheat the oven to 350° F. (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well blended; press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a packed crust.

In a large mixing basin, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in the milk, followed by the eggs, one at a time, until barely incorporated. Mix in the sour cream, flour, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spoon the contents into the prepared crust.

Bake for 1 hour in a preheated oven. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake in it for 5 to 6 hours with the door closed to prevent cracking.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
