Nankhatai Recipe: Ingredients
- 1 bowl – Ghee
- 125 grams – all-purpose flour
- 15 grams – gram flour
- 15 grams – semolina
- ½ tbsp – cardamom
- 125 grams – powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp – Baking powder
- Pistachios for garnishing
Recipe
- Mix flour, semolina and gram flour in a bowl. After this, add 1 bowl of curry ghee to another bowl. After this, mix ¾ cup sugar powder well. Well, when the powder starts to look swollen, add cardamom powder, along with baking powder to it.
- Now add a mixture of flour, semolina and gram flour to it. After mixing it in ghee, mix it well and prepare it like kneading dough. Don’t let it dry too much. When dryness is felt, add some milk and mix it.
- Now turn on the gas and put the cooker on it. Put two bowls of salt in the cooker and cover it. After about 5 minutes, again put some salt in the cooker, then put the stand on top.
- After this, make a small ball of the prepared dough, press it lightly and make a cut in the middle with a knife. You can make it the size of your choice. If you want, you can also apply chopped dry fruits on Nankhatai.
- Now you can cook the Nankhatai on the stand plate of the Nankhatai and cook it on the stand of the cooker. The recipe will be ready after about 10 minutes.
