Moong Dal Chilla: Ingredients

Moong Dal (one bowl)
Besan (two bowls)
Green chili (two chopped)
Dry mango (1/4 tsp)
Cumin – (1 small spoon)
Ajwain (1/4 tsp)
Chopped green onions (two spoons)
Coriander leaves (about 3 teaspoons)
Garam Masala (1/2 tsp)
Red chili powder (1/4 tsp)
salt (to taste)
oil (as required)

Method

To make moong dal cheela, you have to soak it overnight. Can make it again in the morning. It can be made after soaking moong dal for at least five to six hours.

To make moong dal cheela, wash the soaked dal thoroughly. After this, grind it well in the mixie and prepare a paste. Now put the paste in a bowl and keep it. Prepare a thick solution by adding green chilies, green coriander leaves, finely chopped onions, tomatoes and about two bowls of gram flour.

After this prepare the paste by adding red chili powder, garam masala, green coriander and salt as per taste. In this way a mixture will be ready to make cheela.

Now heat the griddle on the gas. Put some oil in it. Now with the help of a bowl or a spoon, take the batter and pour it in a round shape on the griddle. After this, roast the cheela from both the sides till it turns red. In this way Moong dal cheela will be ready.
