Masoor Dal recipe: Ingredients
Masoor dal – 1 bowl, Green chilli – 2, Turmeric – 1/2 tsp, Bay leaf – 1, Dry red chilli – 2, Panch phoran masala – 1 tsp, Green coriander – 1 tbsp, Mustard oil – 1 tbsp, Salt – as per taste
- To make lentils, first, you have to wash the lentils thoroughly and then soak them in water for half an hour, so that the lentils swell and cook easily.
- After this, put the lentils in the pressure cooker and add turmeric, salt and green chillies to it, close the lid and keep it on the gas to cook.
- After this, cook it till two whistles come and then turn off the gas. After this, you have to prepare masala and for this, you take a pan and put oil in it. When it becomes hot, cook cumin, bay leaf, turmeric and garam masala in it.
