Linseed-Sesame Chutney: Linseed and sesame are very good for health. There are many types of nutrients present in them, which are essential for our body. Very tasty and healthy chutney can be made from linseed and sesame seeds. It is not only tasty to eat but also very beneficial for health.

The nutrients present in linseed are helpful in reducing bad cholesterol and the nutrients present in sesame are helpful in reducing the increased weight. In such a situation, you can make a very healthy chutney with the combination of linseed and sesame seeds. Which is beneficial for your health in many ways.

Linseed & Sesame Chutney: Ingredients

  • Flax seeds – 1/2 cup
  • Sesame – 2 tbsp
  • Grated dry coconut – 1/2 cup
  • Whole coriander – 4 tsp
  • Whole red chili – 3-4
  • Curry leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Cumin – 2 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Peanuts – 3-4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida – 2-3 pinches
  • Black salt – 2 tsp (as per taste)
  • Plain salt – 1/2 tsp (as per taste)

Recipe

  • To make linseed-sesame chutney, first put linseed in a pan and roast it on a low flame.
  • When the linseed puffs up and starts crackling, take out the linseed in a bowl.
  • After this, add curry leaves to the pan and fry them too until the leaves become dry.
  • After this, put sesame seeds in the pan and fry them till they turn golden brown.
  • Now put whole coriander, whole red chilies, cumin seeds in the pan and fry them too.
  • Now put all the roasted spices in the mixing bowl and also add roasted flaxseeds and sesame seeds.
  • After this, roast the grated coconut as well. And roast the peanuts as well.
  • Now put all the things in the mixer, add black salt, plain salt and asafoetida along with it.
  • After this add a little water and grind all the ingredients until a fine paste is prepared.
  • When all the things are ground well, then understand that your chutney is ready.
