Lauki Ki Kheer Recipe: Ingredients
Bottle gourd grated 1 cup
Milk 2 cups
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Dry fruits chopped 1 tbsp
Desi ghee 1 tsp
sugar 1/2 cup
Recipe
- To make Lauki Kheer, first of all you have to take bottle gourd and wash it thoroughly.
- After this peel it and then grate it.
- After this, take milk in a big vessel and put it on the gas for boiling. After this, when the milk comes to a boil, let it boil again for about 2 to 3 times.
- After this, take a pan and then put 1 spoon of desi ghee in it and let it heat up well.
- After this, add grated bottle gourd to it and fry it well and the bottle gourd will become very soft while cooking.
- After this, when they are fried well, then add milk to it and let it boil again. After this, add sugar to it and then cook it till it becomes thick.
- After this, add cardamom powder to it and mix it well. After this add chopped dry fruits to the kheer and mix well.
- After this cook the kheer for 5 minutes and then put it in a serving bowl and serve it.
