Devotees in India and around the world are celebrating Krishna Janmashtami this year for the 5,252nd time since Lord Krishna’s birth. According to Drik Panchang, the Ashtami Tithi (the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada) Phase was on August 15 late and will finish on August 16.
