1. Baking Soda

Rinse the dishes with warm water and sprinkle with baking soda. Slightly whip soda and scrub off with a sponge. If the plate is sticky, let the baking soda sit on the plate for 5-6 minutes. After a thorough scrubbing, rinse the dishes again with warm water.

2. DIY cleaner

You only need a handful of ingredients to make your DIY utensil cleaner at home. Add 2 tablespoons of salt and the juice of 1 lemon to 1 cup of warm water. Mix all ingredients well using a spoon. Pour this mixture into the dish and rub it well. Salt helps remove food crumbs from dishes, while lemon removes odours.

4. Rice water

The presence of starch and citric acid in rice water makes it easy to remove fat. Just add rice water to the bowl and marinate the ingredients for about 30 minutes. After that, the utensils should be scrubbed well and washed with warm water to remove the peculiar smell of rice water.

5. Vinegar

Add 1 cup of water and 4-5 tablespoons of vinegar to the spray bottle. Shake the bottle well and spray it all over the dishes. Let the dishes sit for a few minutes, then scrub well with a sponge and warm water.

6. Soda-lemon

Place 3 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl. Squeeze out the lemon juice. Add plenty of fruit juice and mix well to make a slurry. Dip a sponge into the slurry and use it to wash the dishes. Soda Lemon is a powerful remover of both grease and odours from cookware.
