Kashmir’s famous tea can be easily prepared with the help of a few ingredients. It is also known as Noon Chai and Pink Tea. Let us tell you the method of making Kashmiri Noon Tea.
Kashmiri Noon Chai Recipe: Ingredients
- Milk (2 cups)
- Water (2 cups)
- Cardamom (2 crushed)
- Kashmiri Green Tea or Green Tea (2 tsp)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- Baking soda (1/3 tsp)

First, boil a cup of water in a pan on the gas. When it starts boiling, put tea leaves in it and boil for 1 more minute. After this, add baking soda to it and cook for 10 seconds while stirring continuously. After this, add one more cup of water. Add cardamom powder along with it. Boil it till its colour turns red.
After this, reduce the flame of the gas and add milk to it. During this, you have to keep mixing it. While stirring, see that the colour of the tea is slowly turning pink. Now let the tea boil once or twice. In this way, Noon Chai i.e. Pink Tea will be ready. You can serve it. It is considered very good to consume it in winter. Its effect is very hot, so consume it only 1 to 2 times a day.
