Instant Idli: Ingredients
- 1/4 cup and 2 and 1/2 teaspoon semolina
- 2 and 1/2 teaspoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon refined oil
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Baking soda as required
Note: Quantity of ingredients can be changed as per the number of people

First, rinse the rava
The rava should be washed and rinsed three to four times to remove the starchy, dust-like particles.

Prepare the batter
Include the cleaned rava in a basin, Add curd, salt, and bicarbonate of soda to this. The batter ought to have a fluid consistency. If it’s too thick, thin it out with a little water. Give it 15 minutes to relax.

Stream idli
The batter will now be poured into greased idli moulds for 8 to 10 minutes of steaming.

Prepare to serve
Take the heated idlis out of the moulds and serve them with sambhar and coconut chutney.
