Indo-Chinese Chilli Paneer: Paneer curry is liked by all. Paneer is made in different ways. Today we are telling you to make such a vegetable of paneer, which is very easy to make and the less time it takes to make it, the less the ingredients are. This vegetable tastes good even without roti.
Indo-Chinese Chilli Paneer: Ingredients
- Paneer 250 grams
- Capsicum 250 grams (red, yellow, green)
- Onions 2 (large)
- Tomatoes 4 (with salad)
- Black pepper ½ tsp (crushed)
- Black salt 1/4 tsp
- Tomato Sauce 2 tbsp
- Red chili sauce 1 tsp
- Green chilli sauce 2 tbsp
- soy sauce ½ tsp
- White Vinegar 1/4 tsp
- Cornflour 1½ tsp
- Red Chilli Flakes 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Green chilies and garlic 3 to 5 (finely chopped)
- water as required
- salt to taste
- oil as needed
Method
First cut paneer, capsicum, onion and tomato into pieces of about one inch. Keep in mind here that take out the inner part of tomato and capsicum and separate it, we do not have to put it in the vegetable. Then keep each layer of onion separately. All these layers should be about one inch. Now cut paneer also according to the size of capsicum and tomato.
All vegetables will be fried separately
First put half a spoon of oil in the pan. After the oil is hot, first put onion in it. The flame has to be kept high. Then put a pinch of black salt, a pinch of black pepper on the onion. Now fry the onion while stirring for half a minute, then immediately take it off in a plate and keep it. After this, the capsicum is also to be fried in the same way for half a minute. If the oil is less then you can add half a spoon more. After roasting, keep the capsicum in a plate along with the onion. After all this, fry the tomatoes as well. But only a pinch of black pepper has to be added to it. Do not put black salt in it. Otherwise the tomatoes will melt more.
Paneer will be deep fried
Fry the paneer pieces till they turn light brown. Fry it in the same pan that you are already using. Just keep a little more oil so that the paneer pieces can be easily deep fried in it. Apart from this, the flame has to be kept slow to medium while frying the paneer.
Now the real tadka will start
While tempering the vegetable, add half a teaspoon of oil to the pan. Vegetables are fried first, so less oil has to be taken. When the oil is hot, first put green chillies and garlic. After roasting them for half a minute, then add tomato sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, soy sauce and white vinegar. Have to run it for 10 seconds.
Now add black pepper, white salt, black salt, red chili flakes. Then add half a bowl of water to it and mix all the ingredients well. Now wait till it comes to a boil. Meanwhile, make a batter by adding very little water to the cornflour in a bowl. Take care that there are no lumps in it. Now add this solution to the vegetable and mix it. Immediately after this put all the vegetables including paneer in the pan. Then wait till it boils. Keep stirring the vegetable. Then add coriander leaves and enjoy it with roti and paratha.
