Hyderabad’s Sudha Reddy has made her city proud once again! On 29 April 2023, Saturday, she became the first public figure from Hyderabad to have been specially invited as a guest of honour to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2023. This was a milestone moment for the worldwide South Asian community and has boosted India’s reputation within the DC social circle.

Sudha Reddy turned many heads with her glittering emerald gown by Jenny Packham. Her accessories – the Hermès Birkin handbag and the Bulgari Serpenti necklace elevated her look and complemented her gown perfectly. She looked timeless and majestic at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and did justice to her fashionista status.

At the CBS Afterparty she wore a black jumpsuit and a pastel pink, bedazzled blazer and bedazzled shades.

This year’s Correspondents’ Dinner was packed with celebrities; John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Winnie Harlow, Julia Fox, Brittney Griner, Kelly Ripa and Ke Huy Quan were in attendance alongside media icons like Poppy Harlow, Kate Bolduan, Dana Bash, Juju Chang, Stephanie Ruhle, Amy Landecker, Gayle King, and Karine Jean-Pierre.

She was seen talking to congressmen, senators and other public figures of DC at the Dinner and conversed about global social issues. She also attended the State Of Qatar WHC Soiree where she had an in-depth conversation with the ambassador of Qatar regarding the current affairs, economic relations between Qatar, Washington and India, and also chatted about her recent visit to Doha. She also met the Ambassadors of Iran and France at the Soiree.
