Homemade Gulal: Yellow Colour
- 3 tablespoon turmeric powder
- Add water and mix well
- 1/2 cup corn flour or Talcum Powder
- 1 teaspoon Rose Water
- Add turmeric water as per required
- Mix well and dry it up completely
Blue Colour
- Add 10 pieces of butterfly pea flower into a bowl.
- Add hot water and rest for 10 minutes.
- 1/2 cup corn flour or Talcum Powder
- 1 teaspoon Rose Water
- Add butterfly pea juice slowly and as required
- Mix well and dry it up completely
Homemade Gulal: Orange colour
This basic colour may be generated in a matter of minutes by grinding dried orange peels into a smooth powder. Mix in the corn flour and a pinch of turmeric. Run it through a sieve, then use the gulal and enjoy.
Pink Colour
- Add beetroot cubes in a blender
- Add water and blend them properly
- In a bowl add 1/2 cup corn flour or Talcum Powder

- Add beetroot juice as needed

- Add Spinach or corriander in a blender
- Add water and blend it well

- Add the juice as needed

- substitute juice with food color
- make sure you dry up the color completely otherwise the color won’t stick
- use talcum powder instead of cornflour for better results
- use baby talcum powder to keep it more natural
- natural plant based color will fade away in 1-2 days
