Home Decor: Turn your living room into a tropical abode

Add some rustic and natural textures

According to experts, adding some seaside like rustic textures to your space can give that beachy vibe. We can easily make that in home with wood, rattan, jute, macrame, textured stone, etc.

Play with subtle colour palettes for your walls

White, beige, and blue with a hint of green come to mind when we think of a home with a colour scheme influenced by the waves, shells, sand, vegetation, and vivid sunset skies.

Use some plants!

Add a few palm trees, bougainvillaea, bird of paradise, fiddle plant, and other plants that provide melodic beachy sounds. Let’s add some shabby-chic brick or cement urns to serve as planters. When designing a seaside area, a little greenery goes a long way. It also gives the property a cheerful, dynamic appearance.

Some fun mix of sailor-inspired stripes, maybe!

Classic stripes are the epitome of nautical fashion. By including furniture, rugs, and other decorative objects with lines, you may bring the mood of summer into your home.
