Handvo Recipe: Ingredients
- Rice 1 cup
- Chana dal 1/2 cup
- Toor Dal 1/4 cup
- Curd 1/2 cup
- Urad Dal 2 tbsp
- Cabbage grated 1/2 cup
- Carrot grated 1/4 cup
- Bottle gourd grated 1 cup
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
- Green chili chopped 1
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Rai 3/4 tsp
- Cumin 1/2 tsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tsp
- Curry leaves 10-12
- Asafoetida 1 pinch
- Fruit salt 1 tsp
- oil 4 tbsp
- Green coriander leaves 2-3 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
- salt to taste
Method
First of all, clean gram dal, rice, urad dal and toor dal in a bowl. After this, wash them with two to three water and clean them. Now put water in a vessel to soak it.
Leave to soak for about 4 hours. After that remove the water from it. Put them in a mixer jar and prepare a paste. To make a paste, prepare a thick paste by adding half a cup of curd to it. Now put this batter in a big bowl and keep it to cool. After this it will be ready. You can serve it.
