Overall, the outfit was nice for everyday occasions, but it didn’t quite fit the glamour of the red carpet.
2. Naomi Watts
Naomi appeared in a unique dress featuring a black velvet, strapless design that ended with a ‘mushroom-shaped’ pink segment at the knees. Some viewers questioned the colour choice and passed negative comments like: “Her hair is bland and boring, and the dress looks like there’s a pillow stuffed under it. What’s wrong with a beautiful classic black velvet sheath? Why ruin it with that mess?” However, it landed in the ‘worst’ category due to the folded pleats at the bottom of the dress.

3. Ariana Grande
Grande wore a modest cream-coloured skirt paired with long white gloves, which some viewers humorously likened to a ‘sleeping bag’ due to its simple shape. The beige-and-white combination sparked mixed opinions; while some felt it wasn’t the most flattering look, others found it reminiscent of a vintage 1920s nightgown. Overall, the outfit received quite a negative reaction regarding its fit and style.
4. Jeremy Strong
The Succession star appeared at the Golden Globes 2025 in his teal velour suit, white turtleneck, bucket hat, and oversized orange sunglasses. While some appreciated his bold style, others felt the outfit had not entirely suited the event. Many suggested that skipping the hat could have improved his look, ultimately landing him on a worst-dressed list. The outfit appeared too casual and ordinary for the event, which prevented it from standing out.
5. Ali Wong
The stand-up comedian wore a bright red gown with a feathery texture that some viewers found too distracting. Many wished she had chosen a simpler dress in the same colour instead. Comments on social media included remarks like, “Those black gloves didn’t match at all, and that dress looked like a cat attacked it!” Others called the outfit “yuck.” The long black gloves didn’t go well with her dress, and her bold black glasses and straight hairstyle didn’t help either. Overall, her look failed to stand out well and ended up on the list of worst-dressed outfits.
