Five honeymoon destinations: Going on a honeymoon after marriage is a wonderful way for any couple to get to know each other while also having fun. Every couple wishes for their honeymoon to be unforgettable, and the location should be chosen with care and consideration. It is sometimes impossible to decide where to go for an extended period of time. As a result, incorrect places are frequently chosen in haste. There are numerous such places in India that are ideal for any couple’s honeymoon.

Here are five beautiful honeymoon places ideas in India:

Kashmir valley

The word romance comes to mind when anyone hear the name Kashmir. Perhaps this is why it is the most popular romantic honeymoon destination in India. On the one hand, the flower-adorned boat houses of Dal Lake beckon you, while the hustle and bustle of the markets draws you in. If you’re going to come here, start with a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Then, in Gulmarg, play on the world’s highest golf course. Patnitop’s high hills must also be visited. If you are one of those couples who prefer to live peacefully, Kashmir is the place for you.

Tawang

Tawang is a town in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The town was once the capital of the Tawang Tract, which is now divided into the Tawang district and the West Kameng district. It is a self-contained city surrounded by mountains and monasteries. People who come here always feel as if they have entered another beautiful world. If you visit Tawang during the month of February, you will see a different perspective. This month is dedicated to the Tibetan New Year. Madhuri Lake is one of Tawang’s most popular lakes. This lake is well-known throughout India. Take an extra day to visit Nurnang Falls, where it is said that whoever sees it, remains to see it.

Kerala

Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. The blue sheet of water, the pristine white beaches, the dense forests, and the sunlight that falls on the entire island make the island appear very romantic. This beachfront destination is nothing short of a marriage paradise. Aside from the beach in Andaman, the Cellular Jail offers a light and sound show. Many couples wish to watch the sun set together. If you share this desire, make your way to Radhanagar Beach before sunset. You’ve probably never seen anything like this before. On Havelock Island, you can also go snorkelling at Elephant Beach. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are ideal for couples who enjoy relaxing on the beach.

Shillong

Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s popularly known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Shillong is a vibrant city with green valleys, blue skies, and milk-white waterfalls. Every street is bustling with activity, and the bright lights of the markets may tempt you to buy something. Nohkalikai Waterfall, the country’s highest waterfall, is located in Shillong. If you enjoy seeing artefacts, you can do so by visiting the Don Bosco Center. Couples interested in learning about India’s diverse cultures should travel to Shillong.
