New Delhi: Actor Fardeen Khan is ready to make a comeback after 11 years with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. Well over the years, the actor has undergone massive body transformation which is commendable.
Last year, several pictures surfaced on the internet showing his transformational change in terms of body weight. Fardeen Khan, son of late actor Feroz Khan, who is known for movies like Prem Aggan, No Entry and Jungle, struggled with being overweight.
Back in 2016, having gained a lot of weight, Fardeen Khan was mercilessly trolled by people on social media and was body shamed for the same. The actor then took to Facebook and responded back to the haters, “Not ashamed, depressed or blind” and added “I believe the right to laugh at another is earned by having the courage to laugh at yourself.”
But with his hard work and dedication , the actor managed to lose 18 kgs in six months. Earlier in an interview with Etimes, he said, “I had stepped back then. I was happy. It was this year that I wasn’t feeling 25 anymore. I wanted to physically feel 25. As you grow older, body degeneration catches up with you. I wanted to feel very, very good again. You need to think about it as a body-mind connection. I came across this in some reading I was doing.”

Interestingly, Fardeen’s mother-in-law is aldso a part of the web series. Reportedly, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Nimrat Kaur and Sayani Gupta are a part of the show. Mitakshara Kumar will be directing Heeramandi along with SLB.
