Dussehra 2024: Date And Time 

Dussehra 2024 is on October 12. However, the Dashami tithi will cover both October 12 and 13. It will begin on October 12 at 10:58 AM and will conclude on October 13 at 9:08 AM. Ravan Dahan and other festivities of Dussehra will happen on October 12.

Dussehra 2024: Shubh Muhurat 

The Vijay Muhurat will begin at 2:03 PM and will continue till 2:49 PM on October 12. Meanwhile, the Aparahna Pooja time will be from 1:17 PM to 3:35 PM also on October 12. 

Talking about the auspicious Shravana Nakshatra, it will start at 5:25 AM on October 12 and will end at 4:27 AM on October 13.

Dussehra 2024: Puja Vidhu/Rituals 

First, clean the area where the ritual will take place and then place the idol of Lord Rama or Goddess Durga. 

Fresh flowers and fruits should be offered to deities before starting the rituals. Sweets can also be offered as prasad. 

Then, chant mantras or prayers of the deities you are worshipping. 

Conclude the puja by performing aarti.
