Dry Fruit Cake Recipe: Ingredients

  • Amul Butter – 85 grams
  • Sweet Maid (Milkmaid) – 160 grams
  • Maida – 130 grams
  • Baking powder – half teaspoon
  • Sweet soda – 1/4 teaspoon

Ingredients of Caramel Syrup

  • Sugar – 200 grams
  • Water-600ml
  • Raisins – 100 grams
  • Cashew – 100 grams
  • Red Tutti Fruity Cherry – 100 grams
  • Green Tutti Frutti Cherry – 100 grams

How to make Caramel Syrup

To make Christmas cake, first you have to prepare caramel syrup.

1. For this, you have to keep stirring sugar in a non stick pan on low flame till the color of sugar turns brown and comes in liquid form.
2. Now you have to add little by little water to this pan.
3. Once the water and sugar are mixed, add raisins, cashews, red and green cherry pieces and leave it to boil for 5 minutes and turn off the gas.

The taste of the prepared mixture will be of caramel flavor.

How To Make Dry Fruit Christmas Cake

To make a cake, mix butter and milkmaid in one ball and mix it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then mix baking powder, sweet, soda and flour in it. Now put the prepared mixture of caramel syrup in it. Take a cake mold and coat it with oil and cover the inner edges with butter paper. Now put all the mixture in it and let the cake bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 160 degrees. Check the cake putting a knife or a steel thin rod inside the cake, if the rod comes out clean, then the cake is fully baked, if the mixture comes out sticking to the rod, then the cake is fully baked. Not done, the cake still needs to be baked.

The cake is baked, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes and then separate it from the edge of the container with the help of a knife and take out the cake, cut the glazed cherry on top of the cake. Very nice Christmas cake is ready. Serve the cake after it cools down, and fill the remaining cake in a container. Christmas cake can be kept in the refrigerator and eaten for 1 month.
