Ingredients

  • Ginger-garlic paste

  • Curd

  • Pinch of sugar

  • Green chili paste

  • Fresh Cream

  • Salt

  • garam masala

Step By Step Guide

Dip The Malai Chaap Sticks In The Marinade

Combine all the ingredients together as mentioned in the above step. Marinate the chaap sticks and mix well. Let it rest. Set aside until all flavours are mix well.

Make A Thick Gravy

Following on to the next step, now make the gravy by tossing finely chopped onions until they turn golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook.

Cook The Chaap

Moving on the next step, lightly pan-fry the marinated chaap until golden brown. Then add the cashew paste and pureed tomatoes to the pan, and cook until the gravy thickens and the oil gets separated.

Add Spices For Extra Flavours

Cook the chaap for 7-8 minutes. Now, add other spices like coriander powder, turmeric, salt, and red chilli powder. Mix well and cook for the next 2 minutes.

Garnish And Serve

Garnish the malai chaap with kasuri methi, coriander leaves, and fresh cream. Serve hot with rice or naan (optional). Enjoy your favourite malai chaap.
