New Delhi: On Thursday, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s engagement party. The pair came to the ceremony in style, dressed in traditional attire.
Deepika wore a bridal red and gold saree with an exquisitely embroidered blouse to show off her ethnic charm. The drape has lovely floral designs and a broad border. She finished off the traditional look with an exquisite pearl and emerald necklace and matching earrings. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek bun.
Ranveer looked great in a black shimmering bandhgala ensemble that had an asymmetrical kurta and leggings. He went with gelled hair and black shoes to complete his ethnic look.

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, has known Radhika Merchant for a long time. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of businessman Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, and she serves on the Encore Healthcare Board of Directors. Radhika looked lovely in a gold studded lehenga set by designer pair Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for her engagement ceremony.
Following the exchanging of rings, the newly engaged pair stood for a touching portrait with the Ambani family. Anant and Radhika tied the knot in Rajasthan last month with a roka ceremony in front of their family members.
