Date Pudding Recipe: Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (1 3/4 cup)
- egg (2)
- hot water (1 1/2 cups)
- Brown Sugar (1 cup)
- Butter (125 grams)
- vanilla extract
- Crushed Dates (250 grams)
- Brown Sugar (1 cup)
- butter (60 grams)
- heavy cream (300 ml)
- Baking soda (1 tsp)
Method
To make Sticky Date Pudding, preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.
Also prepare the baking tin, for this grease the base of the cake pan with butter.
On the other hand, first heat the water and soak the dates in it.
Add baking soda to this water and soak the dates for about 20 minutes.
On the other hand, take a mixer jar and mix vanilla extract, butter, eggs and sugar in it.
Take all the soaked dates and mix them well with flour.
To bake it, take a baking pan and put the mixture in it.
This will bake in about 35 to 40 minutes, while you prepare the caramel sauce.
To make caramel sauce, combine brown sugar, vanilla essence, butter and cream in a pan.
Now cook all these in medium flame till it starts boiling.
After this, make holes in the baked pudding with the help of a stick.
Pour prepared hot sauce over it and leave it for 10 minutes.
