Date (Khajoor) Chutney: Learn this common recipe with a Twist

Date (Khajoor) Chutney Recipe: You must have heard about Date (Khajoor) chutney, didn’t you? Well, people like to eat chutney and pickle with food in their home, for which they make different types of pickles and chutney, but have you ever tasted date chutney? If not, today we have brought for you a very easy way to make date chutney-

Material:

1 cup – Dates
2 tbsp – Raisins
2 tsp – Ginger paste
1/2 tsp – red chili powder
1 tsp – cumin powder
3/4 tsp – black salt
1/2 tsp – garam masala
1/2 cup (as per taste)- sugar
1 pinch – Asafoetida
2 tsp dried mango powder
to taste – salt

Recipe:

First remove the seeds of dates and then cut the dates into fine pieces.

After that, put half a cup of water and sugar in a pan and put it on the gas on medium flame to make sugar syrup.

Then cook it until the sugar and water dissolve.

When the sugar syrup is ready, add chopped dates to it and mix well.

After that, after adding dates to the sugar syrup, add raisins, ginger paste, red chili powder and garam masala and mix with the help of a spoon.

Then after mixing these spices, add cumin powder, black salt, asafoetida and other ingredients and finally add salt as per taste and mix.

Now let the chutney cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

Keep stirring the date chutney in between with the help of a spoon.

After that, when the chutney is completely cooked, turn off the gas.

Your spicy date chutney is ready, serve it with food.
