Cabbage Kofta Recipe: Ingredients
- Cabbage – 1
- Gram flour – half cup
- Turmeric powder – half tsp
- Coriander powder – half teaspoon
- salt – as per taste
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Oil – half cup
For gravy
- Onion – 2 (crushed)
- Tomato – 4 (crushed)
- Turmeric powder – half tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – half teaspoon
- Oil – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp cumin
salt – as per taste
Recipe
- To make cabbage koftas, first wash it thoroughly and then chop it finely.
- After this, add gram flour and all the spices to the chopped cabbage in a bowl and then mix them all well.
- After this, heat oil in a pan, after that make kofta-sized balls of the prepared batter.
- Now put the koftas in the hot oil and after some time turn them and fry till they turn golden brown.
- Similarly prepare all the koftas and then take them out in a plate.
- Now prepare the gravy, for this make a paste of tomato and onion.
- Now heat some oil in a pan and then add cumin seeds and splutter them.
- After this, put tomato and onion paste in the pan and cook for some time.
- Now add all the spices including turmeric, chili, and reduce the flame and cook till the oil separates from the spices.
- Now add 2 cups of water to it and cook till it comes to a boil and then add the prepared koftas.
- Now cook it for 1 minute, now garnish with green coriander.
- Your cabbage kofta curry is ready, now serve it with roti, rice or naan.
