Cabbage Kofta Recipe: You must have eaten gourd kofte many times, but have you ever eaten cabbage kofte? Apart from the normal vegetable of cabbage, you must have eaten its mixed vegetable till now, which many people do not like to eat or get bored after eating it many times.

But today we are going to tell you the recipe for making Cabbage Kofta. These are very tasty to eat and easy to make, let’s know how you can make Cabbage Kofta.

Cabbage Kofta Recipe: Ingredients

  • Cabbage – 1
  • Gram flour – half cup
  • Turmeric powder – half tsp
  • Coriander powder – half teaspoon
  • salt – as per taste
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Oil – half cup

For gravy

  • Onion – 2 (crushed)
  • Tomato – 4 (crushed)
  • Turmeric powder – half tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – half teaspoon
  • Oil – 1 tsp

Cumin – 1/2 tsp cumin
salt – as per taste

Recipe

  • To make cabbage koftas, first wash it thoroughly and then chop it finely.
  • After this, add gram flour and all the spices to the chopped cabbage in a bowl and then mix them all well.
  • After this, heat oil in a pan, after that make kofta-sized balls of the prepared batter.
  • Now put the koftas in the hot oil and after some time turn them and fry till they turn golden brown.
  • Similarly prepare all the koftas and then take them out in a plate.
  • Now prepare the gravy, for this make a paste of tomato and onion.
  • Now heat some oil in a pan and then add cumin seeds and splutter them.
  • After this, put tomato and onion paste in the pan and cook for some time.
  • Now add all the spices including turmeric, chili, and reduce the flame and cook till the oil separates from the spices.
  • Now add 2 cups of water to it and cook till it comes to a boil and then add the prepared koftas.
  • Now cook it for 1 minute, now garnish with green coriander.
  • Your cabbage kofta curry is ready, now serve it with roti, rice or naan.
