New Delhi: The Italian luxury brand Diesel launched one of its fashion products which made netizens scratch their head. Well, the new product is a belt/skirt that has a Velcro closure.
According to Independent, it was launched at the brand’s fall/winter 2022 collection. It has a price tag of 795 pounds (Rs 74,572). The funky low-waist belt “can be worn as a micro-mini skirt”, Diesel was quoted saying the media outlet. Interestingly social media got into a frenzy seeing the belt/skirt. The question is- whether it is a belt or a skirt?
A week ago, the Italian retail clothing company shared photos and videos of models wearing the piece of clothing on their Instagram handle.
A video of unboxing the product also surfaced on the internet and is gaining traction there.

The TikToker said that she attempted to wear the Diesel belt skirt outside the house but found the product was too impractical when walking and sitting, and she had to go home after 20 minutes.
“I’m really disappointed because I’m obsessed with this skirt but for all of those reasons, I think I’m going to be returning it,” the social media user said.
Others were equally disappointed by the design. “I’m sorry but I think anyone that buys that diesel skirt deserves to be bullied or jumped or both,” commented one user.
