Aloo Kurma Recipe: The name of the potato comes first in everyday vegetables. When they don’t understand anything, everyone makes potatoes. If you want to give it a royal look from potato vegetables, then you can do so by playing with just a few simple ingredients. To make potatoes with a new twist, follow the Aloo Kurma recipe.
Aloo Kurma Recipe: Ingredients
- 8 medium potatoes
- 20 grams of garlic paste
- 10 grams of ginger paste
- 3 grams of red chilli powder
- 125 grams curd
- 6 grams of coriander powder
- 90 grams of desi ghee
- Cashew paste
- 4 green cardamoms
- 1.5 grams of black pepper powder
- 1 tsp green cardamom powder
- 20 grams of green coriander
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of nutmeg powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp dairy cream
Recipe
- First, take potatoes and wash them thoroughly. After this, cut it in half and fry it. For this, heat oil in a pan and then fry the potatoes till they turn golden brown.
- After this, prepare the curd mixture. For this mix, 10 grams of ginger paste, 20 grams of garlic paste, 3 grams of red chilli powder, 6 grams of coriander powder and 125 grams of curd.
- Now, put desi ghee in a pan and turn the gas flame to medium. Cook green cardamom in it till it changes colour. After this, add chopped onions and cook till they turn golden brown. Add 1 cup of water to it and keep stirring. When the oil separates after the water dries up, add the prepared curd mixture to it and keep stirring.
- After this, add cashew paste and fry. After this add fried potatoes to it. Mix 1 cup water, black pepper, salt as per taste, cardamom and nutmeg powder and cover and cook on low flame for about 5 minutes. After this, mix lemon juice in it and cook for 1 minute. Now put cream on top and turn off the gas. You can serve it garnished with green coriander.
