Aakash Chandani ‘The Inkman’ changing perspective towards art of Inking, and introduces Bhopal to new era of tattooing

Tattooing is the art that is the best amalgamation of passion and patience. The art that was losing its sheen in India found its glory back in the 21st century with a few of the finest artists making their names shine with their finesse in the art. Aakash Chandani is one of those shining names who is making the heartland of India proud with his outstanding ability to create tattoo designs that stand out in the crowd. Not only he is creating great designs but also making the art of inking popular and passing his legacy to the next generation through his training institute in the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

Aakash has 2 swanky tattoo studios in the capital of Madhya Pradesh where people from all over the country and even from outside the country visit him to get their perfect tattoos done by him. He is one of the finest tattoo artists of Free Hand Tattoos, Hyper-realism portrait, cover-up tattoos and Hyper color realism tattoos . His designs are stunning and inspiring at the same time. People wait for weeks and months to get inked by the Inkman of Madhya Pradesh.

Aakash has made his way into this creative industry after immense struggle and hard work. Coming from a humble background and realizing how difficult it is to get proper training in this field. One must go from one artist to other to learn the different forms and genres. This made him decide that he will start his own training institute and pass on his knowledge and expertise to the younger lot of artists looking for formal and comprehensive training under one roof.

His recently opened second tattoo studio is one of the biggest and most classy studios that has an entire floor dedicated to tattoo learners. His student learns a few of the finest technique to make them shine in the industry that is popular among the new generation. Aakash helps them learn from the very basic to the most advanced level of tattooing to make their special place in the industry. A few of his students are already becoming popular regionally.

Already a celebrated artist who has won many national and international tattoo competitions and judged a few of the international conventions, Aakash has dedicated his life to the art he is passionate about. He says “Most of the nationally and globally recognized artists reside in metro cities for obvious reasons that the large clientele exists there. But my is to spread it to the regional level, especially in my home state.”

He continues “I learned the art by carving it on my own body, it sounds fancy but believe me it is the most difficult thing. At the same time it has also made me understand impact of machine on the skin and various body parts. It is a great learning experience for any artist.  I have learned tattooing in bits and pieces and then put immense efforts in it, but I would not like the new artist to struggle like that. They should to get everything under one roof, and I even want the industry to be more organized.”
