Vata Face Mask

It should be applied on the face and left for 10-15 minutes or till it dries off and then washed with lukewarm water. Then an oil-based moisturizer or sesame seed oil can be applied.
Pitta Face Mask
It is a mask constituting ¼ cup aloe vera gel and a few drops of rose water. The cotton balls should be soaked in rose water and dabbed gently on the skin to cleanse it. The aloe vera gel should then be applied on the face and left for 15 minutes after which it should be washed with lukewarm water. A gentle moisturizer containing geranium oil should be applied on the face. For best results use it 2-3 times a week.
Kapha Face Mask
There are two types for this skin type. In the first, a teaspoon of honey is properly mixed with a pinch of turmeric, applied on the skin and left to dry for 10 minutes. It is then washed off with lukewarm water. In the second type, multani mitti or fuller’s earth should be mixed with water and applied on the skin which should be dried for 10-15 minutes. It is then washed off with lukewarm water.
