Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Attributes Tarn Taran Bypoll Victory to Governance Focus

Chandigarh: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh claimed that the people of Punjab have proven yet again that they prefer politics of work, celebrating the recent victory of his party in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election.
Highlighting that the win also mirrors the public’s perception of the effective governance, Mann extended his heartiest congratulations to Harmeet Singh Sandhu for winning with a margin of over 12,000 votes. He congratulated the people of the constituency for this incredible achievement, and assured that all promises made to the people of Tarn Taran will be prioritized.
CM Mann said, “The resounding victory in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election has clearly demonstrated that the people of Punjab value a politics centered on work and progress. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party continues to achieve such great victories. Once again, the people of Punjab have shown their unwavering trust in our party.”
He further added, “This win is not just ours, but a triumph for the people, our dedicated volunteers, and the entire leadership. Every commitment made to the people of Tarn Taran during the by-election campaign will be fulfilled as a top priority. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Tarn Taran on this remarkable victory.”
Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal applauded CM Mann for his successful leadership and extended his congratulations to the party workers.
Notably, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, the AAP candidate, securing a victory by a margin of 12,091 votes in the Tarn Taran bypolls, is a former Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and a three-time MLA, had switched allegiances to the AAP.
