Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann says state government will renovate Shri Kali Mata Temple in Patiala

The Chief Minister said that a new road has been constructed near the pond for the convenience of devotees.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated projects worth Rs 75 crore for the renovation of the historic Shri Kali Mata Temple.

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that to enhance spirituality and beautification, a sound and light show will be organised on the lines of important pilgrimage sites. He said Rs 6.78 crore will be spent on the project, and tenders have been issued for the same. Mann said that a lift worth Rs 15.11 lakh has been installed in the newly constructed building.

The Chief Minister said that a new road has been constructed near the pond for the convenience of devotees. He said work has been started in a collective manner for the projects related to the building, galleries, entrance gates, and pond.

Mann said that a daily community kitchen will be started for the devotees, especially those coming from distant regions and economically weaker sections of the Hindu and Punjabi communities.
