MoU Signed Between Patanjali Yogpeeth And Awadhesh Pratap Singh University For Academic Collaboration

Acharya Balkrishna stated that courses related to Yoga, Naturopathy, and Ayurveda will be developed and conducted through joint efforts of both institutions.

Rewa: Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar — one of the premier institutes for research in yoga, naturopathy, and Ayurveda — and Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa (Madhya Pradesh), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic collaboration and mutual cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna, Chairperson of Patanjali Yogpeeth, stated that the purpose of the MoU is to ensure academic, research, and developmental collaboration in the fields of yoga, naturopathy, Ayurveda, and other Indian traditional knowledge systems.

Under the agreement, both institutions will jointly develop and run courses related to yoga, naturopathy, and Ayurveda. The MoU also outlines the organization of joint research projects and seminars. According to Acharya Balkrishna, the partnership will facilitate knowledge sharing through the mutual exchange of academic and technical experts from both institutions. Provisions for student training, internships, and field work will also be included.

Additionally, the institutions will have shared access to each other’s libraries, laboratories, and research resources. Coordinated certificate, diploma, and degree programs in yoga and Ayurveda will also be conducted as part of the collaboration.

Prof. Rajendra Kumar Kuraria, Vice Chancellor of Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, expressed that Patanjali Yogpeeth is a top research institute in yoga, naturopathy, and Ayurveda. He added that through this collaboration, both institutions aim to undertake extensive research and share knowledge in these fields.

Dr. Surendra Singh Parihar, Registrar of Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, was also present at the event.
