Instant Migraine Relief? Baba Ramdev reveals which Oil may help reduce headaches

To help readers alleviate the pain associated with migraines, Baba Ramdev has shared his learnings about improving the condition.

Migraine headaches are often considered to be the usual pains that we generally experience due to high stress, blood pressure, or several other health factors. But if your headache has lasted for more than a week, instead of just a day, and is causing a pulsating pain, it is possible that the pain is arising due to migraine issues. Migraines can easily impact your daily activities; the immense pain can lead patients to experience stress while chewing, blurry vision, and nausea. To help readers alleviate the pain associated with migraines, Baba Ramdev has shared his learnings about improving the condition. He has also produced a new badam oil that he claims can bring patients a lot of relief.

Here’s how patients can get relief from migraines

Baba Ramdev states that if migraines and the headaches associated with them have been impacting your life, you can use almond oil. Badam Rogan (cold-pressed almond oil) can be used and ingested as well. If migraines are getting the better of you, you can squeeze a few drops into your nose—2–3 drops—and let the oil pass through your nasal passages into your throat.

Mixing it with Milk

Rogan Badam oil can also be mixed with milk. This combination, he claims, can further help alleviate migraine pain. Almond oil’s inherent components may help provide relief from headaches.

Ghee could be a solution as well

Ayurvedic expert Acharya Balkrishna recommends that a few drops of ghee in your nose can be beneficial during migraine episodes. All you have to do is place a few drops of ghee in your nasal passages to help alleviate dryness and discomfort.

Use of Fenugreek

Consuming a fenugreek decoction can also be beneficial for headaches. Boiling it and drinking it for headaches may provide relief. Consuming this decoction for more than a month is said to help prevent headaches.

Different Phases of Migraine

First Phase – Prodrome

The first phase is prodrome, and it lasts up to 24 hours before the headache actually begins. This phase is characterised by mood swings, difficulty sleeping, and trouble concentrating.

Second Phase – Aura

The second phase occurs 5 to 60 minutes before or during a headache attack. Symptoms include muscle weakness, vision issues, and ringing in the ears.

Third Phase – Headache

The headache worsens in the third stage and can last up to 72 hours. In this stage, you may experience nausea, vomiting, pain on one side of the head, and sensitivity to sound, light, or smell.

Fourth Phase – Postdrome

Postdrome is the fourth and final phase of a migraine. It lasts up to 48 hours after the headache attack. It is characterised by fatigue, weakness, and stiffness around the neck.
