Acharya Balkrishna said that pomegranate leaves can be used to heal mouth ulcers. First, take 20 to 25 pomegranate leaves and crush them lightly. Add 400 grams of water and boil the mixture well. When the water reduces to about 100 grams, strain it and use the warm liquid to rinse your mouth.

Pomegranate leaves can also be chewed. The saliva that forms while chewing should not be swallowed; instead, it should be spit out. By doing this, it helps reduce mouth ulcers.

Potent remedy for mouth ulcers

According to Baba Ramdev, a potent remedy for mouth ulcers is ‘neela tutha’ (blue vitriol/copper sulfate), which is easily available in the market. A person suffering from mouth ulcers should get neela tutha and lightly roast it on a pan. Once it is roasted, apply it on the ulcer. The saliva that is produced should not be swallowed; instead, spit it out after applying the neela tutha. Baba Ramdev claims that this Ayurvedic remedy helps cure mouth ulcers.
