Bahadurgarh’s son Aryan Mann’s dominance is increasing in Delhi University student union elections. Aryan Mann has been made the candidate for the post of president by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Aryan Mann is an MA student in Library Science from Delhi University and has been continuously raising his voice for student interests. Along with becoming DUSU president, Aryan Mann has pledged to get concessional passes for students during metro travel.
He has also pledged to organize placement fairs on a large scale for students and appoint counselors for mental health in every college, increase scholarships and solve all issues related to student interests. Aryan Mann’s grandfather Late Shri Chand Mann was the head of Lova Saatrah Khap and now his uncle Ashok Mann is holding the responsibility of the head of Lova Saatrah Khap. Seeing the social contribution of the Mann family, Dalal Khap, Chillar Chikara Khap, Sangwan Khap of Dadri, leaders of Hisar, social and Khap representatives and Palam Khap of Delhi have also openly supported ABVP candidate Aryan Mann.
Mahavir Mandir Society located in the main market of the city has also given its support to Aryan Mann. Independent MLA of Bahadurgarh Rajesh June held a meeting with the workers at his office and announced to support Aryan Mann and has also asked all the workers to contact the students studying in Delhi University and appeal for votes for Aryan Mann. At the same time, many leaders including former chairman Ravi Khatri, Naresh June, Arun Khatri associated with the Congress party have also appealed for support and votes for Aryan Mann through their social media posts. Aryan Mann is getting open support from all places, from university hostels to campuses. Due to which the path for Aryan Mann’s big victory seems to be clear.
Delhi University alumnus Sahil Garg said that he is an alumnus of Delhi University and as such, he will work with all his alumni to ensure Aryan Mann’s victory. He said that this is the first time that a candidate is speaking his mind by keeping issues related to student welfare at the center. He expressed hope that Aryan Mann will become the head of Delhi Student Union and work for the progress of students and better education system.
Aryan Mann’s resolution; ABVP’s manifesto
1. Aryan Mann says that in the present times, there is a lot of mental pressure on students in terms of career and academics, so the first thing to do is to appoint mental health counselors in every college and university campus keeping in mind the mental health of the students.
2. All students will be provided with discounted metro passes, free Wi-Fi, and sanitary pad vending machines will be installed for girl students.
3. Self-defense training and security app will be developed giving priority to women’s safety.
4. Health insurance, health card, wellness society and open gyms will be set up in colleges.
5. Internships, employment fairs will be organized for students and placement cell will be strengthened to work in the interest of students.
6. Scholarships will be increased and increase in scholarship will be ensured according to inflation index.
7. Sports equipment, nutritious diet and competitions will be promoted to promote sports.
8. New hostels, pure drinking water and water coolers will be arranged at every 100 meters.
9. Along with free AI training and preparation for NET exam, notes will be arranged in regional languages.
10. Official information will be digitized.
11. Special scholarship work will be done for transgender students.
Aryan Mann has pledged that after winning all the four seats of Delhi University Students Union, he will work for the student interests throughout the year.
