In another case of food negligence, sources reported on Friday that one person died due to food poisoning at a madrasa in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The tragic incident occurred at the Charitable Trust madrasa in Ajit Singh Nagar, Vijayawada, where approximately 100 kilograms of spoiled mutton resulted in a severe case of food poisoning, sources added.
As a result of the food poisoning incident, a young girl named Karishma tragically lost her life, and eight others were hospitalized.

Reports indicate that approximately ten children experienced vomiting shortly after consuming the meal on Thursday night, necessitating urgent medical attention. Family members of the victims claimed that the food poisoning resulted from consuming stale mutton, which allegedly had been stored since June 17th.

Following the incident, the victim’s family members gathered at the madrasa office in Ajit Singh Nagar to protest and demand accountability. Meanwhile, authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter to ascertain the precise cause of the incidents, pledging to take appropriate action.
