Under the Yamuna Authority's residential plot scheme, 276 out of a total of 54,384 applicants will be allotted plots. Following the end of the scheme's last date on June 21, verification of applications has now commenced. Before the lottery process, the list of eligible applicants will be published on the official website of YEIDA. According to jagran.com, the lottery of the scheme will be drawn on July 11.
The Yamuna Authority launched the residential plot scheme this year on April 21. The scheme includes 276 plots of 200 square meters in Sector-18. Of these, 214 plots have been reserved for the general category, 48 in the farmers' quota, and 14 for active industrial units.

This time, the authority increased the price of plots in the residential category to Rs 35,000 per square meter, anticipating a possible drop in the number of applications.

Under the scheme, till now, the authority has received a total of Rs 34 billion 8 crore 90 lakh 90 thousand 600 as a 10% registration fee. Only from the sale of application forms, an income of Rs 3 crore 71 lakh 70 thousand 600 has been generated. Applicants who are not selected in the lottery will be refunded their registration fee.
YEIDA CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh informed that the lottery will be held on the scheduled date, and before that, the final list will be released on the website.
