YEIDA Housing Scheme 2024: Over 1.12 Lakh Apply For 451 Plots Near Noida Airport

Around 1.12 lakh applicants have registered for the plots scheme under YEIDA. The plots are located in sector 24A, near the Yamuna Expressway. The expressway connects Agra, Mathura, Greater Noida and other places.

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority launched the plot scheme last month. The plots under the scheme are located near the Noida International Airport. Till now over one lakh people have applied for only 451 plots under the scheme.

Around 1.12 lakh applicants have registered for the plots scheme under YEIDA. The plots are located in sector 24A, near the Yamuna Expressway. The expressway connects Agra, Mathura, Greater Noida and other places.

The authority collected around Rupees 4,800 crore from the registration. According to the experts, the response shows the risen demand of properties near the Jewar Airport.

As quoted by Moneycontrol, a YEIDA expert said, “A lucky draw for the allotment of these residential plots will be conducted on December 27. The plots are conveniently located near the upcoming airport, the proposed Film City in Sector 21, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.”The period of the scheme was between October 31 to November 30.

Just like Gurugram, Noida has been a planned city and a major contributor to the GDP of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from YEIDA schemes, there has been several metro expansions ongoing in the city to improve the connectivity between places and people. Also, the major reason behind the same is to increase the level of public transport in the whole Delhi NCR.
