Investors are showing interest in industrial investments in Greater Noida. To develop industrial sectors, land is required, and roads and other infrastructure will also be built. Now, the authority is in the process of acquiring 40 hectares of land across nine villages, including Atai Muradpur, Ladpura, and Astoli. Authority to set up camps to buy land from farmers with their consent.
There had been disputes regarding compensation between the authority and farmers for land near Astoli village in Dankaur. This land is needed to expand a modern waste disposal centre, where companies involved in waste management will be allocated space. The compensation issues with farmers have now been resolved, and the land acquisition is proceeding.
Additionally, the authority said, “We are also acquiring land for the 60-metre-wide road in Salem Pur Gurjar village. A 50-acre plot will also be allocated to solar company Avada.
The process of buying land in nine villages—Atai Muradpur, Ladpura, Astoli, Salem Pur Gurjar, Amarpur, Pawari, Daddupur, Dhoom Manikpur, and Sunpura—is underway.” Officials said, acquiring land is necessary for development in the area.
