PM thundered that the world’s largest museum will be constructed in the national capital.

However, while paying tribute to the Kargil war heroes on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, PM Modi said, “Today is the historic day for the country. The enemies of India were defeated today by our brave sons and daughters. I pay tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their life in the Kargil war.”

Taking a jibe at the opposition parties, PM Modi said that even the ‘Toli’ (group of people) will accept the IECC complex – ‘Bharat Mandapam’ and it is also even possible that they might visit the place to deliver a lecture in a seminar.

“Some individuals have a habit of criticizing and opposing positive initiatives. When the construction of ‘Kartavya Path’ was underway, it attracted a lot of attention and was even reported as breaking news on the front page of newspapers. Legal matters were also raised in courts. However, once it was completed, the same people appreciated the project and acknowledged its value,” he underlined.

“After getting the first glimpse of the newly revamped ‘Bharat Mandapam’, every Indian is overjoyed and full of pride,” he said.

“Over the past 5 years, 13.5 crore individuals have emerged from poverty, with international agencies acknowledging that extreme poverty in India is on the brink of elimination. These positive developments affirm that the decisions and policies implemented over the last 9 years have been steering the nation in the correct direction,” PM Modi added.

Earlier, PM Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed IECC complex – ‘Bharat Mandapam’ at Pragati Maidan and dedicated it to the nation.
