Ace wrestlers of the country have been demanding action against World Wrestling federation Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh who allegedly had sexually harassed female wrestlers.

The Centre on Wednesday assured protesting wrestlers that the police investigation will be completed by June 15 and asked them not to stage protests until then.

This came after ace wrestlers Sakshee Malikhh and Bajrang Punia met Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur at the latter’s residence earlier in the day after the former called them for talks amidst the ongoing demand of arresting Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
