New Delhi: After Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court summoned him in the case of sexual harassment alleged by Wrestlers, Outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Friday said that he did not want any exemption from appearing before Court, and He would appear before the court on July 18.
He gave the statement while talking to news agency ANI.
Earlier today, after taking cognisance of the 1500-page chargesheet filed by Delhi Police, the court summoned the BJP leader and WFI Assistant Secretary Vinod Tomar and listed the matter for July 18.

Last Month, after recording statements of female wrestlers, the Delhi Police filed two chargesheet against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief in separate courts. In Rouse Avenue court Delhi Police filed a chargesheet related to complaints registered by 6 Adult wrestlers while Police filed another chargesheet pertaining to complaints registered by minor wrestlers in Patiala House Court.
Delhi Police said that after completion of the investigation in the POCSO case, we have submitted a police report under Section 173 CrPC requesting to quash the case based on the statements of the complainant which includes. father of the minor victim and the victim herself.
