Woman Stabbed To Death Over Money Dispute In Visakhapatnam

According to the police the incident happened on Wednesday evening. Mahesh was arrested and is being treated in hospital for his wound injuries.

A woman was stabbed to death in Visakhapatnam by a man allegedly over a money dispute, said police on Wednesday.

The woman, identified as Suvvada Sujatha, 35, died on the spot. The accused has been identified as Uma Mahesh, who inflicted injuries on his body with the knife after attacking the victim.

“Uma Mahesh and deceased Sujatha have known each other for the last five years. Uma Mahesh attacked her with a knife, and later he inflicted injuries on his body with the knife. Sujatha died on the spot. Our team inspected the crime scene and an Investigation has been started,” Simhadri Naidu, Circle Inspector of Dwarakanagar Police Station, said.
