A woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district. The woman lodged an FIR with the police after escaping from the clutches of the accused.
Woman was going to meet her ailing mother
The woman alleged in the FIR that she was going to meet her ailing mother. She met a man at Gulab Bagh Chowk who was known to her. The man allegedly coaxed her and took her to an isolated place. The three other men joined the main accused, and they took turns to rape her. The incident took place on February 19th.
The accused held her hostage for four days and physically assaulted her. The woman managed to flee from their clutches and reached home. She narrated her ordeal to the family members. The victim complained to the Mahila police station.
Police called FSL team
Mukesh Meena, CO City, said that a case has been registered against the four accused. An FSL team has also been called to the crime spot. He said the police officials are gathering evidence and recording the statements. A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits, hoping that they will be caught.
Woman raped and robbed in Pune
Last month, a Pune court remanded two accused to police custody until March 7 for allegedly raping and robbing a 19-year-old woman, police said.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Amol Pote (25) and Kishore Kale (29), allegedly raped and robbed a woman in Shirur taluka of Pune district on Saturday night.
Police Inspector Mahadev Waghmode of Ranjangaon Police Station stated that the victim and her cousin were threatened with a sharp knife by two accused who arrived on a scooter while they were talking at a secluded place.
The accused forced the woman and her cousin to engage in a ‘obscene act’, recorded the act on video, and subsequently raped her. Before leaving, they took her gold locket worth Rs 10,000, Waghmode said.
