In a shocking incident, a woman bit her husband after a verbal duel at her home in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
According to NDTV, the victim, Amit Sonkar, was allegedly beaten up by his wife, Sarika, who later ripped off his right ear during the fight.
The victim alleged that his wife does not want to live with him and has been pressuring him once she gets money and a house. Sonkar said he was sleeping on the sofa when his wife started attacking him.
The couple got married eight years ago in a love marriage, but now they have decided to part ways as a divorce case is pending in court.

A senior police officer confirmed that a divorce case has already been filed in court and said a probe has been launched into the matter.
In a separate incident, A man was allegedly killed by a woman’s family over a suspected love affair in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Monday night, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Lucknow West) Vishwajeet Shrivastava said the girl’s brothers had invited the victim to their home under the pretext of a wedding, where the incident occurred.
The incident took place near JT Chowki in Sahadatganj police station area, he said, adding that the deceased’s younger brother, Astar Abbas, has a criminal history and is currently in jail.
According to officials, following the incident, police forces from six stations were deployed to the area to prevent any untoward incident or protest. Security was also increased outside the homes of both the deceased’s family and the woman’s family.
