An Instagram post by Vipin Bhati, accused of setting his wife on fire over dowry demands, has gone viral on social media. The post expresses his grief over his wife’s death, later dismissed as fake when he was arrested for Nikki Payal’s murder. The post was made hours before his arrest for his wife’s murder. In the Instagram story shared at 1am on Saturday, he said the world is calling him a killer because “she left him”.
“Why didn’t you tell me what had happened? Why did you leave me? Why did you do this? The world is calling me a killer, Nikki,” Vipin wrote on his Instagram story. In a follow-up pic, he added: “‘Mere saath bahut galat ho raha hai tere jaane ke baad’ (I am being wronged since you left).” Another Instagram story featured a video of Vipin and Nikki smiling, captioned: “I am devastated (‘main barbaad ho gaya’). I am left with nothing (ab kuch nhi bacha).”
