Who Was Manisha Thapa? College Mourns Loss Of Air India Crew Member From Patna Who Died In Crash

Patna: 27-year-old flight attendant, Manisha Thapa, was among the 274 people who were killed in the deadly Air India plane crash on Thursday, which occurred moments after the flight took off from Ahmedabad airport. Following the unfortunate tragedy, Manisha’s family and neighbours have plunged into deep mourning.

Who Was Manisha Thapa?

Manisha Thapa, who was a resident of Patna, served as a cabin crew member on an Air India flight. She was a bright girl with a vibrant personality who started her aviation career with IndiGo Airlines. After serving as a ground support staff there, she joined Akasa Air and was currently working with Air India. She was a cabin crew member, serving regularly on international routes. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from St Xavier’s College.

Manisha’s College Pays Her Heartful Tribute

Manisha was given a final farewell at St. Xavier Management College on Saturday. In a heartfelt tribute, her teachers, classmates, and college staff planted trees in her memory on the college campus. Students said that Manisha was an ever-smiling and inspiring person, whose departure is an irreparable loss for everyone.

Her body will be handed over to her family after her identity is confirmed. Meanwhile, the college administration and students have appealed to the government and Air India to provide proper compensation and all possible help to Manisha’s family.

Patna lost a promising daughter, but her memories, her struggle, and her smile will always remain alive in everyone’s hearts.
